Marumo Gallants coach Sebastien Migne has disclosed that he still remains at the club despite the rumours making rounds that he has been sacked ahead of the start of the new season.
Migne, who was recently appointed, has reportedly been shown the exit doors by the club, with Roger Palmgren lined up to take over.
“I remain the head coach here at the club and I am glad you are making an effort to contact instead of going with what is on social media,” Migne said.
“I am focused on the first game that we will play against Baroka on Saturday because that is what matters to me. As we speak, I am in my hotel room preparing for my second session of the day and in the next 15 minutes, I will be going in the direction of the stadium for my second session of the day.
“Tomorrow (Wednesday) I will be having a meeting with all the PSL coaches in Johannesburg so maybe the rumour is from an agent whose player I released and now he wants to kill me.
“That is the nature of football, and I don’t worry about social media because people write what they want there. My objective right now is to be of help to my players and the technical team remains the same as it was so no worries at all.”
Jean Francois Lusciuto, David Mathebula and Mpho Maleka and Harris Chueu are all part of the club’s technical department.
Migne has worked on the continent in the past decade with the national team of DR Congo, Congo, Togo, Kenya and Equatorial Guinea.
The club has already released Congolese Dutch Jeroen Lumu before even kicking a ball following his arrival from Malta.
Marumo Gallants will begin their 2021/22 PSL campaign with a crunch fixture against Baroka FC on Saturday.
