Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Sandile Ndlovu has called on current players to seek for advice when they feel there is a need for it.
The indiscipline case of some of the players has been a talking point in the football circle, with most recently, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates players finding themselves on the wrong side of the law.
With Dumisani Zuma currently suspended at Chiefs, Ndlovu has raised concerns about the issue and advises the players to be accessible to avoid destroying their careers.
“I will tell you one thing, if they don’t come to us and ask for advice, we can’t help them. They must come to us and (learn) how to deal with frustrations. We made mistakes and know. We here to help them but they don’t want to come to us,” Ndlovu said in a recent interview.
“We are open to helping them because the name of KZN can’t be dragged like that and soon these teams won’t want players from this Province, they need to come to us and ask for advice.”
“I’ve been there, I went from being a top player at Mamelodi Sundowns to Dynamos, I had to deal with that frustration. I want to help them. I hurt many people, including my family, I even did interview with Soccer Laduma to apologise to them,” he added.
“I plead with these players to find us, we might have nothing now but we can assist so they cannot make the same mistakes. We need to end this curse, we don’t need money from them, we just want to assist them.”
